Mid-America is recognized as the leading independent brand for retail real estate services in the Midwest. 

1984:

Mid-America is founded to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding tenant representation business in the Chicagoland area, with an exclusive focus on retail real estate.

1990:

Mid-America begins to offer asset management services.

1991:

Mid-America establishes its investment sales capability with a focus on the sale of multi-tenant shopping centers.

1998:

Mid-America expands its service lines to include construction management and development services.

2000:

Mid-America expands outside of the Chicagoland area with the opening of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office.

2001:

Mid-America expands with the addition of investment net lease sales, facilitating the sale of single-tenant properties.

2008:

Mid-America’s expansion continues with the addition of the office in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

2011:

Mid-America opens Metro Detroit, Michigan office.

2020:

Mid-America enters the building services business, providing janitorial and maintenance services to property owners.

2024:

Mid-America celebrates its 40th anniversary.
