Mid-America Asset Management Inc. was awarded the management and accounting services for The University of Chicago’s Commercial Real Estate Operations (CREO) in Chicago, with over 600,000 square feet of commercial retail, office, and entertainment near the University’s main campus.  CREO attracts and retains a diverse and growing tenant base near 53^rd Street in Hyde Park, promoting a vibrant commercial corridor. 

The retail portfolio is comprised of several independently owned and operated business, with a large mix of national tenants such as LA Fitness, Starbucks, Ulta, Stan’s Donuts, Sweetgreen and Five Guys, to mention a few. 

Mid-America Building Services has supported the team assisting with cleaning, day-porter, and maintenance services.

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. Principals Jean Zoerner and Matt Tomasek, and Vice-President Tracee Johnson were the team that secured the opportunity with the University of Chicago.
