Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group recently brokered the sale of Oakland Plaza, a dominant community shopping center located at the intersection of 14 Mile and John R Roads in the northern Detroit suburb of Troy, Michigan.  The 166,731 square foot center was sold to Atlanta, GA based RCG Ventures.

Oakland Plaza is 97% leased and anchored by TJ Maxx, DSW, Planet Fitness, and Michaels, complemented by a dynamic roster of specialty retailers including Rally House, Kids Empire, and American Mattress.

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Ben Wineman and Associate Patrick Corrigan, and Mid-America Real Estate – Michigan, Inc. Principal Daniel Stern, were the exclusive listing brokers in the transaction on behalf of the Seller, Baltimore, MD based Continental Realty Corporation.
