Mid-America Executes Sale of Pier 37 Shopping Center in Monona, WI

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group recently brokered the sale of Pier 37 Shopping Center, a 117,078 square foot grocery-anchored shopping center ideally positioned along Monona, Wisconsin’s (Madison MSA) primary commercial thoroughfare.
Pier 37 features a freestanding Metro Market (Kroger), one of the most popular grocery chains in Wisconsin by market share and number of locations. In addition to Metro Market, the center features Staples, Woodcraft, Buffalo Wild Wings, Starbucks, Jimmy John’s, Verizon, and other high performing tenants. The subject offering caters to the Madison MSA’s desirable surrounding demographics, which features an affluent, densely populated residential market of more than 159,900 residents within five miles and a corresponding average household income of $83,900.
Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Rick Drogosz and Senior Associate Patrick Corrigan served as the exclusive listing brokers on behalf of the seller, United Properties. The center was acquired by Galway Companies, Inc.
