Mid-America Real Estate Corporation welcomes Nick Kohlmann as Vice President and part of the Investment Sales Group. Kohlmann’s focus is on the sale of single tenant net lease properties. Nick further strengthens the existing Mid-America Net Lease team which includes George Ghattas, Senior Vice President; Matt McParland, Vice President; and Luke Rogers, Investment Analyst.  

In his new role, Mr. Kohlmann is responsible for the generation, underwriting, and execution of single tenant investment sale assignments. 

Prior to his employment at Mid-America, Mr. Kohlmann was the Vice President of Portfolio Management at Pine Tree during which time he oversaw a $2 billion portfolio of retail shopping centers. Other previous employers include Brixmor Property Group and Phillips Edison Company, providing a broad perspective on the landscape and evolution of retail real estate.  

Nick graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Nick is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the States of Illinois and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). 

Since its inception in 1984, Mid-America has completed $16 billion in investment sales, currently leases and manages over 50 million square feet of retail space and represents more than 270 tenants throughout the Midwest.
