Wangard Partners has tapped Mid-America to provide retail leasing, sales and advisory services for a 70-acre mixed-use redevelopment project in suburban Milwaukee.

Olympia Fields is rising on the site of a former resort, ski club and conference center that is being redeveloped with multifamily residential, multiple indoor and outdoor recreational and cultural amenities, various retail uses, medical and a potential hotel. The project is 45 minutes west of downtown Milwaukee in Waukesha County’s Lake Country.

Sendik’s grocery anchors the first phase of the retail portion of the property, occupying a former Kmart box, with Planet Fitness next door. Still available is an additional anchor to complement the grocer or several mid-box tenant positions as part of the second phase. Potential uses for the outparcels include medical, financial, restaurant and entertainment.

Recreational mountain-biking trails, a community center, amphitheater and sustainable landscapes are planned for the future to amenitize the property including the 175+ units of second-home multifamily residential.

The city of Oconomowoc is supporting the redevelopment district with tax-increment financing to help cover the cost of infrastructure improvements and other community benefits.
